USA: Chicago Protests Against Police Brutality
  • 8 years ago
Dozens of protesters blocked one of the main streets in Chicago to protest against police brutality and to demand the resignation of Mayor Rahm Emanuel. Recently released videos of the shooting of young Laquan McDonald, which occurred in October of 2014, have evoked outrage. Mcdonald was shot 16 times by policeman Jason Van Dyke, who was charged with murder and is now out on bail. The protests erupted once again after Emanuel addressed the City Council on Wednesday. teleSUR
