The complete and original film on the life of Fred A. Leuchter Jr.

Leuchter became famous after his testimony as witness expert in the 2nd Great Holocaust trial against Ernst Zündel in 1988 in Toronto where he wrote the so called "Leuchter report" that basically stated that in Auschwitz, Birkenau and Majdanek, former German concentration camps during WWII, there were no and could not have been any gas chambers after what Leuchter, an expert on execution devices like the electrical chair or the gas chamber in US-american penitentiaries, had seen in these places during his visits there in 1988. His claim was supported by the chemical analysis of wall and brick samples he had taken in the original places where the gas chambers were claimed to have been.

After his testimony in the trial against Ernst Zündel, Fred Leuchter was attacked by many political power groups in the US and Canada claiming that he was not a real engineer, no actual expert in gas chambers and basically an antisemitic and right-wing lunatic that couldn't be taken for serious. Because of this his "Leuchter report" was claimed to be of no scientific or engineerial relevance.

After this public annihilation of his professional reputation Leuchter lost his job, his house and his wife and basically became a homeless lonely man trying to survive somehow. Amazingly enough he survived this personal night-mare and he his, status november 2015, still alive, as can also been seen in this video by Jim Rizoli interviewing Fred Leuchter dating September 2015: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G_EMnWi38JA
