Interviewer: Was it a run on the limit or did you not risk all?
Lindsey: I was agressive at the steep part but i think i could do more. But i always say that because when you watch video you always say it was to round or to straight but this was a solid run. I’m really satisfied and the margin is more than i expected. It was a perfect end to a perfect weekend.
Inteviewer: It was really a perfect weekend. Now Mikaela Shiffrin is coming. She’s in the technical disciplines the best and you are in the speed disciplines. Will this be a fight between you two in the World Cup?
Lindsey: Yeah for sure and think that will be thrilling for the american viewers and the viewers all over the world. That makes be happy fort he whole Season. She’s awesome in the Slalom and also Giant Slalom. Hopefully I can make some more points in the Giant Slalom. Let’s see how she’ll race today.
Interviewer: What do you think about Mikaelas run?
Lindsey: Yeah for the first race it is great. I thought maybe a top ten place but it was maybe before the first jump to much pressure. But it was great and she’s a great talent and i’m happy that we have another competitor in the Speed races.
Interviewer: You are in the lead in the overall worldcup now. Next week is Are will you ski there?
Lindsey: I’ll train with Red Bull somedays in Salzburg and then fly to Are. I need a little break now after this great weekend. But i’m looking forward to a flater hill in Are. Aspen was a bit to much for me. I’m ready for more.
