I feel your pain when you sing this song because i went through the same,it really brings back memories for me at 46 years old.I've been blessed in return with three beautiful kids which i would not give up for anyone.Keep spirit up and thank God everyday for the talent he gave you to share with the world,you do make a difference.

I weep with and for her. We who have suffered the same fate can cry openly when she sings our feelings so beautifully.

Her Father really doesn't deserve those tears. I can tell with this song and everything she went through with him. That these are her heart felt feelings of growing up without him. Then to add insult to injury of a young girl growing up with a con father. He steals her things and sells them on EBay. Kelly, you have come a long way. Look to the future don't look back. You will always remember your loss as a young girl the only thing he gave you and that is being lonely longing for a father who chose crime over his little girl. You are a success just keep going.

I am raising my step-son with my husband (his mom comes and goes) and I cry for him every time I hear this song. I give Kellie credit. I don't know how she made it through the song as well as she did. She's turned her double negative into a positive. God bless her!

This is a beautiful song written about her life. I believe she became emotional singing it and I personally felt her emotions and cried as well.
