Observing the life on and along the Dal Lake over a day leads to an interesting mix of results. The Shikaras floating on the Dal Lake, the houseboats docked on the lake, tourists flocking to the banks of the lake and its major landmarks, and if on a particular cloudy day, the moon day decides to play hide and seek, then the reflection of the moon along with clouds in the Dal Lake adds to the grandeur of the results.
