TSA ruins 5-year old's Disney trip by tossing 'gun-like' Buzz Lightyear toy

FORT LAUDERDALE, FLORIDA — A 5-year old Pennsylvania boy's first ever trip to Disney World ended on a sour note recently when his toy was confiscated by TSA agents because it resembled a firearm.

Levi Zilka had just enjoyed his first ever trip to the theme park in Florida, during which his uncle bought him a Buzz Lightyear Star Command Flip Grip Claw Grabber Arm.

But when Levi and his father David were travelling through Fort Lauderdale International Airport on the way home, they were stopped by TSA agents, who told them that they couldn't take "realistic replicas of firearms" on board the plane — even though the toy is not even a toy gun.

As the family had only packed carry-ons, that meant one thing: The not-gun-like claw grabber arm had to be tossed, which left a 5-year old boy predictably devastated.

The TSA is now said to be "evaluating" the incident.
