"One of the finest exponents of Indian classical dance, Hema Malini pays dance tribute to her late mother, Jaya Chakravarthi at an annual dance event- ‘Jaya Smriti’ . The event is organized every year by Hema Malini with the aim of encouraging new talent in the field of Indian classical dance and also honouring the veteran performers. While Hema looked elegant in a red saree, daughter Esha Deol looked radiant in a beautiful anarkali. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was to be the guest of honour for the event, but gave it a skip at the last minute.
