Irene Cara-What a feeling

Irene Cara, de son vrai nom Irene T. Escalera, (18 mars 1964 - ) est une actrice, comédienne et chanteuse américaine.

Irene Cara a interprété le rôle de Coco Hernandez dans le film d'Alan Parker Fame dont elle a aussi chanté la chanson titre.

Sur la bande originale du film Flashdance, elle a interprété She's A Maniac et Flashdance (What A Feeling). Cette dernière chanson lui a valu le Grammy de la meilleure chanteuse pop en 1984.
