I would do most anything for you - Marty Gross & his Hot Puppies

Recorded at June 2005 Ascona Jazz Fesival this fine pick-up band work their way through this popular Claude Hopkins composition. The band consists of four Americans All Stars and I guess three European musicians who are stars in their own right.
The Americans: Marty Gross on guitar, Randy Reinhart cornet, John Allred trombone, John Sheridan piano. The European team: Frank Robertscheuten tenor sax, Nico Gastreich bass, Moritz Gastreich drums.

I love these guys and love this tune! I remember Claude Hopkins playing at the Metropole in Times Square with Charley Shavers, Eddie Barefield, Russell "Big Chief" Moore, Panama Francis, et al.
