I’ve grown accustomed to her face - Ruby Braff 1991

This is dedicated to my trumpet and cornet playing friends!
Simon Stribling, Hans Carling, Peter Heyen, Ron Scheffer, Gunhild Carling, Bria Skomberg, Martin Muller, Jan-Eric Kellso, Clint Baker,
Alan Matheson, Jerome and to so many others all around our jazz playing world.
Isn’t this the ultimate challenge. Ruby Braff and his cornet.
Here Ruby plays in 1991 with Howard Alden guitar and Frank Tate bass. Each of the tunes from this concert are ultimate jazz expressions done with taste, talent, originality and move me deeply.

Wow--thanks for including me in that list of great players, I'm honored. But more than that--thanks for posting this--Ruby was the man...this is so f'n' great. Moving, for sure. Miss him terribly. thanks again, thanks for posting so much wonderful stuff. Sorry I've been a stranger, was unable to log in here for a long time, got it figured out I think, now. cheers,
