سُورة الطَّارِق
سورت : مکي ترتيب تلاوت : 86 ترتيب نزولي : 36 رکوع : 1 آيات : 17 پارہ نمبر : 30
اللہ کے نام سے شروع جو نہایت مہربان ہمیشہ رحم فرمانے والا ہے
1. آسمان (کی فضائے بسیط اور خلائے عظیم) کی قَسم اور رات کو (نظر) آنے والے کی قَسمo
1. By the (endless expanse and infinite space of) heaven and the Nightly (discernable) Visitant.
2. اور آپ کو کیا معلوم کہ رات کو (نظر) آنے والا کیا ہےo
2. And what do you know what the Nightly (discernable) Visitant is?
3. (اس سے مراد) ہر وہ آسمانی کرّہ ہے (خواہ وہ ستارہ ہو یا سیارہ یا اَجرامِ سماوی کا کوئی اور کرّہ) جو چمک کر (فضا کو) روشن کر دیتا ہے٭o
٭ النجم الثاقب سے مراد ذاتِ محمد مصطفی صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم بھی ہے، جس نے سراجاً منیراً کی شان کے ساتھ آسمانِ رسالت پر چمک کر ظلمت بھری کائنات کو نورِ ایمان سے روشن کر دیا ہے۔ (الشفاء)
3. (It implies) every heavenly body (be it a star, a planet, or any of the heavenly spheres) which shines and brightens (the space).*
* Al-najm al-thaqib refers also to the chosen Messenger Muhammad (blessings and peace be upon him) who shone as a sirajan munira (luminous lamp), with a sun’s glow, on the horizon of Prophethood, and brightened the universe with the Light of Faith. See: al-Shifa by al-Qadi ‘Iyad.
4. کوئی شخص ایسا نہیں جس پر ایک نگہبان (مقرر) نہیں ہےo
4. There is no human soul but with a protector (appointed) over it.
5. پس انسان کو غور (و تحقیق) کرنا چاہیے کہ وہ کس چیز سے پیدا کیا گیا ہےo
5. So man should ponder (and find out) from what substance he has been created.
6. وہ قوت سے اچھلنے والے پانی (یعنی قوی اور متحرک مادۂ تولید) میں سے پیدا کیا گیا ہےo
6. He has been created from the ejaculated fluid (i.e., virile and motile sperm).
7. جو پیٹھ اور کولہے کی ہڈیوں کے درمیان (پیڑو کے حلقہ میں) سے گزر کر باہر نکلتا ہےo
7. That proceeds from the middle of the sacrum (and pelvic girdle) and is ejected.
8. بیشک وہ اس (زندگی) کو پھر واپس لانے پر بھی قادر ہےo
8. Indeed, He has the power to bring it (life) back,
9. جس دن سب راز ظاہر کر دیے جائیں گےo
9. The Day when all secrets will be disclosed.
10. پھر انسان کے پاس نہ (خود) کوئی قوت ہوگی اور نہ کوئی (اس کا) مددگار ہوگاo
10. Then man will have neither any strength (himself) nor any helper.
11. اس آسمانی کائنات کی قَسم جو پھر اپنی ابتدائی حالت میں پلٹ جانے والی ہےo
11. By the heavenly universe which will regress to its primitive state,
12. اس زمین کی قَسم جو پھٹ (کر ریزہ ریزہ ہو) جانے والی ہےo
12. And by the earth which will split asunder (and change into dust particles),
13. بیشک یہ فیصلہ کن (قطعی) فرمان ہےo
13. This is indeed a decisive (i.e., absolute) commandment.
14. اور یہ ہنسی کی بات نہیں ہےo
14. And it is no joke!
15. بیشک وہ (کافر) پُر فریب تدبیروں میں لگے ہوئے ہیںo
15. Indeed, they (the disbelievers) are hatching plots.
16. اور میں اپنی تدبیر فرما رہا ہوںo
16. And I am designing My own strategy.
17. پس آپ کافروں کو (ذرا) مہلت دے دیجئے، (زیادہ نہیں بس) انہیں تھوڑی سی ڈھیل (اور) دے دیجئےo
17. So give the disbelievers a respite (for a while, not much); let them relax a little (more).
