Peru to Host Annual IMF, WB Meeting

Peru will host the 2015 annual IMF and World Bank meeting from October 9 to 11. This is the first time the meeting has been held in Latin America since 1967 and will attended by finance ministers, bankers, business leaders, and academics. Ahead of the meeting, World Bank chief economist for Latin America said that while the region is experiencing a slowdown, a major financial crisis such as occurred at the beginning of the 1990s is not likely. teleSUR
