It seems like fans of video games have become can be a lot more vocal—and mean-spirited—than fans of other forms of media. Or at least it seems that way on the Internet. It’s not enough to like video games anymore. Now you have to use the right hashtags and sign the right petitions Now you have to be a “gamer.” But what does that label even mean? How has it changed over the years? And is that kind of label helping or hurting the gaming industry? Let’s PONDer the issue, Undertoads.
