Mexico: PRD Approves Electoral Alliances with PAN

The left-leaning Party of the Democratic Revolution (PRD) party has decided to seek alliances with its ideological opponent, the National Action Party (PAN). In a weekend meeting, the PRD said that such alliances would be formed under certain conditions and for specific purposes only. Members also passed a resolution demanding accountability from party members with responsibility in the Ayotzinapa case.
