understand the guidance of Allah
أَفَلَا يَتَدَبَّرُونَ الْقُرْآنَ أَمْ عَلَى قُلُوبٍ أَقْفَالُهَا
Then do they not reflect upon the Qur’an, or are there locks upon [their] hearts? 47:24
The Qur’an, a miracle of Allah, is His complete and last message for the guidance of mankind.
• Why has Allah chosen Arabic to convey this divine message?
• And why is the Qur’an a miracle?وَلَقَدْ يَسَّرْنَا الْقُرْآنَ لِلذِّكْرِ فَهَلْ مِن مُّدَّكِرٍ
And we have indeed made the Qur’an easy to understand and remember: then is there any that will receive admonition? 54:32
• Is the Qur’an truly easy to understand? And if so, why?
• What guiding principle does this final message give to attain self-cleansing and success in this life and the next?
Course Objectives:
• Understand Qur’an in Arabic, the original language it was revealed in, without any reliance on translations.
• Identify nouns and verbs and understand their literal and terminological meaning.
• Understand words that express abstract concepts, such as emotions, for which there are no sufficient translations, by studying the grammar and Balagha Rhetoric .
• Learn how to implement the message of the Qur’an in our lives by studying the daily actions of our beloved Prophetﷺin the narrations of authentic Ahaadith.
• Gain the knowledge of the correct Aqeedah through the study of Qur’an and Ahaadith.
Keeping the above objectives in mind, sincerely ask Allahالله سبحان تعالى to open the locks on our hearts and to protect us from the worst enemy, Shaytaan, by learning and implementing the teachings of the Qur’an and Sunnah in order to gain the best success in this life and the Hereafter.
