Cuba: Pope Francis Holds Mass in Havana

Pope Francis arrived early this morning at Cuba’s Revolution Plaza where a massive crowd gathered to hear him preside over a Sunday mass in Havana. The pontiff’s message was serving others and not oneself. Pope Francis will be in Cuba until Tuesday, when he’ll fly to the United States for a five-day tour. This is his first official visit to the two countries since the Vatican helped mediate talks that led to the recent restoration of diplomatic relations between Washington and Havana. The Vatican said it hopes the Pope’s trip will help bring an aid to the U.S. blockade against Cuba. teleSUR
