Hewlett-Packard slashes up to 30,000 jobs

The American technology firm Hewlett-Packard is to cut up to 30,000 jobs, or 10% of its workforce, as part of the plan to split the company in two. It brings to more than 100,000 the number of staff positions axed at HP since 2007. Also today, Facebook is working on a "dislike" button for users' posts.
