EXCLUSIVE The stories seem the same year after year.
Leafing through the annual Auditor-General's Report, there is a never-ending tale of irregularities, project delays and inflated costs. If it was RM224 for a set of four screwdrivers in the 2008 Audit Report, it was RM871 for toilet signage in the report for last year.
But auditor-general Ambrin Buang is of the opinion that the performance of the civil service has improved over the years.
