NADYM Is Happiness

RIPO, an artist from New York living in Barcelona, and Sakristan, an artist from Madrid who recently returned from New York, crossed paths and decided to embark on a trip together to an unknown place. They went in search of somewhere neither had ever been to before, some place neutral, with no preconceptions and that would serve as a backdrop for the two artists to mix their work in unforeseeable ways. Playing with the initials of their respective cities, NY and MAD, they came up with the name NADYM. To their surprise Nadym is located in the northern Siberian region of Russia.
After some more research they discovered that Nadym means Happiness and is the only city in the world that has a parking lot for reindeers. Evidently the two artists could not have found a better place.

Jugando a componer palabras con las letras de sus respectivas ciudades de origen (NY) (MAD) surge el nombre Nadym que sorprendentemente corresponde a una ciudad situada al Norte de Rusia de la que niguno había oído hablar anteriormente.
Buscando información sobre este lugar, descubren que el significado de Nadym es happiness y que es la única ciudad con un hotel con parking para renos. Evidentemente no podrían haber encontrado mejor destino.
