The foreign ministers of Venezuela, Delcy Rodriguez, and Colombia, Maria Angela Holguin met Wednesday to discuss the situation along the two countries' common border. Venezuela had closed the border in attempt to stop smuggling and paramilitary operations and since then shortages in the border state of Tachira have drastically declined.
