When 800,000 people show up unexpectedly, what do you do? As Germany braces itself for a record intake of migrants and asylum seekers, the chancellor travelled to a refugee centre near Dresden that was the scene of weekend rioting by neo-Nazis. The Germans are waiving their right to send refugees back to their point of entry... while the Hungarians are building a barbed wire fence. But what about Germany's call for other EU nations to share the burden?
