New Yorkers React To Proposed Times Square Shutdown

To counteract the abundance of naked performers and costumed panhandlers, Mayor De Blasio announced he was open to the idea of closing the pedestrian square and reopening Times Square to cars. He proposed to build a task force to evaluate the best way to deal with the problems in the 3 year old pedestrian walkway built by prior Mayor Bloomberg. We asked people what they thought and were surprised by the variety of responses.
