Trailer: This film features footage of a variety of vintage medical techniques exhibited at the International First Aid and Mine Rescue Contest held at the University of Pittsburgh on August 30 and September 1, 1927. The demonstrations include bandaging, carrying and exploration techniques, artificial respiration, gas tests, and rescuing trapped miners from a mock mine site. The film also shows a coal dust explosion demonstration at Bruceton, Pennsylvania, and various crowd shots of the people attending the contest and exhibits.
