A court has released video of the harrowing moment a speeding motorcycle collided with a former American Idol contestant as she was dancing in a street parade in Saginaw, Missouri.
The video, filmed by an 11-year-old spectator, shows Sikenya Thompson, a 20-year-old aspiring model, marching with her dance group “Daniels Angels” in celebration of local-born NBA player Draymond Green’s championship on June 27.
The atmosphere of jubilation is suddenly shattered by the guttural roar of a motorcycle as it whips past, striking Ms Thompson, to a chorus of horrified screams.
"We started across the street from the water place [Saginaw's Water Treatment Plant], and I didn't make it to the end," Ms Thompson said.
