Village Music, a record store in Mill Valley, California, will close on 9/30/07 after serving the community and vinyl collectors world-wide for 40 years.
This clip from a local cable access news magazine show aired in 2001, when ongoing battles against soaring rents and a changing music industry threatened to close the store.
In truth, over the years there were many such times when the store's future was threatened similarly.
This clip shows a time when it survived, at least for another few years...
