In the first part of his Bollywood Hungama exclusive interview with Content Head Broadband Faridoon Shahryar, Sajid Khan talks about his recent stint as a columnist on a weekly basis. He then talks about how he got success and never recognition and the lessons learnt from the debacle of 'Himmatwala' and 'Humshakals'. He speaks about 'Sholay' completing 40 years and how it had not worked with the critics then. He talks about how a section of industry had issues with him since he used to take a dig at films. He analyses the box office performance of his last film 'Humshakals' and explains why he joined on the microblogging website Twitter. talks about hosting an episode of 'Comedy Nights With Kapil' and assures that Kapil Sharma indeed had a back problem. He explains how he convinced Rishi Kapoor to not leave Twitter. He also reveals that he never ever in his career made fun of people's personal lives, religions, Gods etc. He talks about the problems faced by the industry after the new Censor Board came in place and that he'd not like to blame chairman Pahlaj Nihalani for it. He also criticizes the directive of inserting disclaimers whenever animals are shown on screen. He explains why he would not like to write a book in the near future and when he does, it would consist of some very interesting chapters.
