Mumbai: Cops assault maid in lock-up - Tv9 Gujarati

Mumbai: A 32-year-old house help from Sion claimed she was taken to Chunabhatti police station on suspicion of carrying out a theft at a residence where she had been employed for the last four months. Accprding to the sources, the maid was taken into a room where four policemen and a lady cop beat her. Later, it came to light that the complainant ended up finding his lost valuables in a cupboard at home.
