Young Gun: Teo Nie Ching

The 2008 general election, could prove to be a watershed year as we near the 13th time that we head for the polls to elect the next government -- State and Federal.

Why watershed? Well it was the first time ever that opposition parties under the Pakatan coalition comprising of PAS, DAP and PKR wrestled Selangor, Penang and Kedah from the grip of Barisan Nasional while maintaining their control over Kelantan.

With the approaching 13th general election, the opposition parties are confident of winning enough Parliamentary seats to form the next government; if they do win, it will be the first time ever that the Barian Nasional would lose Federal power.

In this installment of Young Guns we speak to Serdang MP Teo Nie Ching for her take on what the last five years have been for her.
