After massive support on social media and more than 100,000 people signing a petition calling for justice for murder victim Chee Gaik Yap, Taiping MP Nga Kor Ming has written to the Law Minister to ask the Attorney-Genera to reopen criminal investigations and file an appeal against the high court decision. The court had acquitted the accused of murdering Chee, who was raped and killed seven years ago.
