Princess Giselle (Amy Adams) lives in a blissful cartoon world and is engaged to a prince (James Marsden). But then an evil queen (Susan Sarandon) banishes her -- to New York City. Scared and alone, Giselle meets and falls for a kind divorce lawyer (Patrick Dempsey).
