‘Tel Aviv on the Seine’ causes controversy

As has become tradition in Paris every summer, a stretch of quay along the Seine has been turned into a beach. On August 13 this year, “Paris Plage” is set to honour the city of Tel Aviv, feted for its own golden beaches. The Paris City Hall has been criticised for associating Israel with the event – we take a look at the controversy.
