Research Shows Americans Forfeit More Vacation Days; Leading Expert Offers Tips on the Importance of Prioritizing Our Well-Deserved Breaks!
It’s no surprise that most Americans are so wrapped up in their work lives that they don’t take all of the vacation time to which they’re entitled. According to Business 2.0 magazine, U.S. employees are taking less time off than ever: Not only is the average number of annual vacation days granted to them a mere 12 days a year, but more than a third of Americans don't even use all of our granted time off. In fact, according to Expedia.com’s Vacation Deprivation survey, a full 35% of employed U.S. adults aren't taking all the vacation days they get for the year, inching up from 33% last year.
