Iraqi peshmerga forces reinforce besieged Kobane

Iraqi Kurdish peshmerga forces are fighting the Islamic State group in the besieged border town of Kobane, as they joined fellow Kurds (YPG) battling jihadist. Up to 4,000 jihadists are fighting some 1,500 to 2,000 members of the YPG in Kobane, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.
