Coal Secretary – Anil Swarup talks about Coal India's record production - up 12% in June quarter. He tells ET NOW that CIL will clock an 11% growth in domestic production this fiscal, keeping up the momentum seen in Q1. As a result July coal imports went down 11% (YoY) - the first drop in over a year! In this exclusive conversation with ET NOW’s Nithya Balakrishnan, he adds that 550 MT is the production target for FY16 and the centre is working in tandem with states to ensure CIL achieves that.
