A VW Passat plug-in hybrid, a BMW people carrier, an Audi that gets up to 330 km/h and a small Opel convertible - the German car industry is moving into the fast lane.
Present it!: VW Passat GTE. With the Passat GTE Volkswagen is presenting its first mid-size plug-in hybrid model since the Golf GTE. Taste it: BMW 2-Series Active Tourer. The visuals alone make this people carrier different from BMW’s usual elegantly contoured sports cars and sedans. Admire it: Audi R8 V10. Audi presents the new R8, designed by racing car developers to give customers that racetrack feeling in daily life. Test it!: Opel Adam Open Air. The roof of the city car retracts at the push of a button to reveal the sky. Drive It! went to see if it’s enough to evoke that real open-top feeling. Vintage: Bensberg Classic 2015. "Very important people" und "very important cars". That is what the Schloss Bensberg Classics event has been offering regularly since 2009.
