The 2016 Mitsubishi Pajero Sport will make its global debut at the Bangkok Motor Show which will begin today. News is that the car will be offered in three versions in the Thai market initially. The three versions include GLS, GT AWD and a GT variant. In Indian currency the prices of these cars are slated to be somewhere between Rs.20 to 26 lakhs.
The new Pajero Sport will be powered by a 2.4-liter four0cylinder engine that has been borrowed from the Triton pickup truck is capable of churning out a peak power of 180 bhp and a peak torque of 430Nm. Depending on the variant one is buying the engine will be mated to either a six- speed manual or a six-speed automatic transmission system.
As far as India launch of this car is concerned, it will be launched in the Indian market sometime by the middle of next year and when it happens rest assured Indian Drives will bring that news before anyone else does.
