Illegal drugs, prostitution, the organ trade--these black markets currently thrive immeasurably all over the world. These markets do very well, yet because of their underground nature, they evade paying taxes. Some argue that this is a source of tax revenue that governments should tap into. Legalizing such black markets may bolster a nation's economy as well as make these industries safer through regulation and greater transparency.
