Gaza: Islamic Jihad Rally for Palestinian Prisoners in Israeli Jails
  • 9 years ago
Hundreds of protesters from different groups joined an Islamic Jihad rally on Wednesday in solidarity with Palestinian prisoners being held in Israeli jails. Speakers demanded freedom for hunger-striking prisoners and at the very least some basic rights, such as family visits and an end to solitary confinement policies. Dozens of Palestinian prisoners from the West Bank who have been exiled to Gaza called on Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas to work out a deal that would enable them to return to their hometowns. Noor Harazeen reports from Gaza for teleSUR.
