Lisa Canny is a mutli-instrumentalist singer/songwriter and composer from Co. Mayo. With seven All-Ireland titles to her name in traditional Irish music Lisa's roots range from traditional and folk to pop and soul music, creating a unique sound often compared to Kate Bush, Sinead O'Connor, Ingrid Michaelson, and Hozier.
Although only new to the pop scene, she has already grabbed the attention of Miles Copeland (The Police, Sting, I.R.S Records), Jodi Marr (Mika, Paloma Faith) and George Noriega (Shakira, Ricky Martin) and was invited to attend ASCAP's Annual songwriters retreat last year along with artists The Plain White T's, Mike Posner, and the Kaiser Chiefs.
Her debut single will be released on 12th June 2015.
