Ahmedabad: The City Taxi service was finally flagged off by transport minister Vijay Rupani. The first batch of 20 such taxis, including AC and non-AC, were rolled out on the first day. Officials said that these taxis will operate only in Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar district, and will be available for travel between Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar also. These will be in direct competition with the radio cabs, which are operational in the city.
