Ahmedabad : Devotees, who so far haven’t conveyed their wish to present Mameru at Ranchhod Temple in Saraspur, might have to wait for 25 years now as 25 requests for gifts are already lined up for the coming years.
Mythology has it that Mameru is gifts given to Lord Jagannath, his brother Lord Balaram and their sister Subhadra from their maternal uncle on Rath Yatra. Traditionally, Mameru is presented by set of people chosen by Ranchhod Temple in Saraspur.
