Eig88 You sound depressed or mean. I think it was well done. I am in my 40’s and I can remember back to my teens. Sitting at a desk, my mind drifting, and yes sometimes to suicide. It is very well done! If this made one kid stop and think and not do it for 1 second it was well done. If it made one parents look closer at their kid and show the love their kid needed it is worth any bad comments that could even be giving to the artist. Too many kids can’t see that things are really getting better every day. They need love and understanding. They need to know that many GLBT kids grow up to do great things in their life. They also need outlets with other kids their own age that are GLBT. They are not alone and many people do stand up for them. I think most Americans would be shocked to realize just how many GLBT Americans have giving suicide consideration.
OK. Well, its up to gay and lesbian people to try to help young people like this fellow to stay alive and get healthy. We have a long history of being productive, useful, talented and just plain good members of the community.
However, this film is also about depression. Lots of people get to feeling severely depressed.
To them I say - go ahead and ask for help, but from the right people. Go to doctors, gay/lesbian help lines.
