    Drum Boogie - Carlings 2007
In 1941 drummer Gene Krupa created a top hit called Drum Boogie. As a kid I remember it in our family’s 78 rpm collection. I’m not certain if vocalist Anita O’Day then had already joined the Krupa Orchestra. The Krupa Orchestra produced several 100 different 78’s.
In this clip we hear and see a spectacular version by the Carlings. Gunhild handles the vocal well and Ulf stars with some impressive drum effects. The famous endchorus is effectively done by the frontline. Then in 1941 and now in 2007, still a good showpiece.
