Surat airport safe for operations, says Airports Authority of India - Tv9 Gujarati

Surat : The Airports Authority of India (AAI) has declared Surat airport safe for operating flights under aerodrome licence issued by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA). This declaration comes seven months after a buffalo hit a plane on the runway in November 2014. AAI divulged the information in reply to a query sought by a member of We Want Working Airport at Surat (WWAS) group Tarun Chugh under the Right To Information (RTI) Act.
