Honduras: Corruption Scandal Puts Mass Transit Project On Hold

Trans 450 was supposed to be the Honduran capital of Tegucigalpa's low-cost mass public transportation system, the most modern of its kind in Central America. But a corruption scandal has put the project, which was supposed to have been launched two years ago, on hold. What remains is a reminder of poor public policies and impunity. No investigation is underway and no one knows what is happening with the project and if and when it will be revived. Gerardo Torres reports from Tegucigalpa. teleSUR
