New Suicide Hotspot: Brimming Sabarmati turning into a graveyard - Tv9 Gujarati

Ahmedabad: The Sabarmati river has become a deathbed now. Fortunately, authorities have woken up from their deep slumber and started taking initiatives to prevent the riverfront stretch from turning into another Kankaria lake, which was earlier known as a suicide spot.
As per Ahmedabad Fire and Emergency Services (AFES), there is sharp increase in the numbers of people jumping into the river.
