Angra - Wishing Well

Angra (qui est le nom de la déesse du feu dans la mythologie brésilienne et signifie en portugais « baie » ou « ouverture » au sens élargi) est un groupe de power metal progressif brésilien mélodique et symphonique créé en 1992. Toujours en activité, le groupe a perdu trois de ses membres originaux en 2000, remplacés en 2001.
Histoire
Le tout premier line-up d'Angra est constitué d'Andre Matos (chant, ex-Viper), Rafael Bittencourt (guitare), Kiko Loureiro (guitare), Luis Mariutti (basse) et Marco Antunes (batterie). Ce dernier quittera le groupe dès 1992. Le batteur Ricardo Confessori (ex-Korzus) n'intégrera le groupe qu'après l'enregistrement du premier album, Angels Cry (enregistré par un batteur de session, Alex Holzwarth, actuel batteur de Rhapsody of Fire). Bien que n'ayant pas joué sur l'album, Ricardo Confessori apparaît tout de même sur les photos du livret.
En 2004, ils sortent l'album Temple of Shadows, qui reprend encore une fois des airs brésiliens avec plus de percussions que les albums précédents, et une orientation progressive plus subtile.
Temple of Shadows est le cinquième album du groupe brésilien de heavy metal Angra dont sera tiré un clip video et un single "Wishing Well".

Histoire
