This weekend owes its share to one of the much awaited films, Welcome To Karachi! Yes! The same film that’s doing the rounds ever since the project was announced. It also boasts an ensemble of Arshad Warsi, Malik Zain Ali, Irtiza Siddiqui, Jackky Bhagnani and Lauren Gottlieb. So, are you hearing me? I am taking you to our quick film review that’ll help you decide on whether to watch or not watch the film! The makers are proudly calling it the dumbest movie of the year, gives you a bit of a hint about what the film is about to show. It seems to be in the league of the Housefulls and the Golmaals. So people who love that genre of comedy would have a blast. The film’s plot revolves around two guys who are really dumb. It is because of that, that at some point you will start feeling like you are watching a desi version of the Hollywood superhit ‘Dumb And Dumber’ starring Jeff Daniels and Jim Carrey. Arshad Warsi’s antics are funny. Jackky Bhagnani tries pulling off a Gujarati guy but fails miserably at it. His Gujju act seems very forced and therefore you don’t end up laughing as much at his antics as it’s supposed to be. Overall, it’s a one-of-a-kind comedy adventure of how two cool adventurers find themselves in Pakistan amidst the political tension. So watch it to love it and here’s our rating- 3 stars on 5!
