Switzerland: FIFA Officials Detained in Dawn Raid.

Seven FIFA officials were arrested early in the morning in a luxury hotel in Switzerland, in the biggest scandal ever to hit the world soccer organization. It comes just two days before longtime FIFA President stands for reelection. Among those arrested were two FIFA vice presidents. All face extradition to the United States. A total of 14 people have been indicted on charges of corrruption, 12 of whom are from Latin America and the Caribbean. U.S. Attorney General Loretta Lynch explained that the arrests are the result of a long investigation of bribery and corruption in world organized soccer, and FBI Director James Comey added that nobody is above the law. teleSUR
