Hello!Walmart shooting: Double amputee Daniel Pirtle, 44, allegedly shot Anchorage Walmart employee Jason Mahi, 33, before fleeing the scene on a motorized shopping cart. Reports say Mahi had asked Pirtle to put a leash on his service dog. Pirtle refused, which led to an argument that ended with Pirtle pulling out a weapon and shooting Mahi in the stomach. Pirtle tried to escape in his motorized shopping cart, but was stopped at the front doors of the store before being disarmed and arrested by police. The service dog was taken away and is being cared for by an Anchorage police officer.
